The Eyes of Sibiu are the iconic eyebrow dormers on the roofs of Sibiu's houses in Romania. 

Built mostly between the 15th and 19th centuries, the eyes, which were used as a ventilation system for the houses' attics, have given Sibiu the nickname of "The City Where Houses Don't Sleep"
